What is GenieMD iVisit?
GenieMD iVisit is a telemedicine platform that lets you access a doctor from the onvenience of your home through a smart phone or computer. Through a virtual medical visit our providers will diagnose your symptoms, prescribe medication, and send any prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice.
What are the most common conditions you treat?
Our providers treat a wide range of non-emergency medical issues. Some common conditions
Cold & Flu
Nausea / vomiting
Skin infection / rashes
Upset stomach & Diarrhea
In case of a medical life threatening emergency, you should dial 911 immediately.

How do I sign up for or activate my GenieMD iVisit account?

Can my GenieMD provider prescribe medication?
Our providers can fill many routine non-controlled prescriptions such as antibiotics, birth control, and men’s health medications. After reviewing your case your provider will use their medical judgment to determine whether a prescription is required, and any prescriptions will be sent directly to the pharmacy of your choice. We do not prescribe or refill any controlled substances such as Adderall, Ativan, or Xanax.
Who are the GenieMD iVisit Providers?
Our network of Board Certified providers practice under GenieMD Medical Group and are both single and multi-state licensed and credentialed to work in your state of residence. Our providers go through a rigorous selection process and receive ongoing telemedicine training as a part of our network.
Can my child see a provider using GenieMD iVisit?
Yes. Please create an account for yourself, and list your child as your dependent. When scheduling a provider visit you will be able to choose if the visit is for you or your child. We currently treat children 5 and older, and any children over the age of 18 must have their own account, due to privacy and security requirements mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).
How long does it take for a provider to review and treat my condition?
Our providers are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It usually takes less than 4 hours for one of our providers to review your case and call you during business hours (8AM to 8PM Pacific Time).
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
You do not need to schedule an appointment. After you register and log into your account you will be able to view providers who are available for an on-demand visit. If a provider is not immediately available, you can report your symptoms and then be placed in a virtual waiting room. As soon as a provider is available they will review your case and give you a call back to start your virtual visit.
